COVID-19 Booking Conditions

NEW BOOKINGS - FIT

The following Terms & Conditions apply:

These terms only to any new bookings for travel up to and including 15 December 2021
These terms apply to FIT bookings only
New bookings can be held provisionally for up to 14 days if made more than 60 days prior to arrival and for 7 days if made less than 60 day prior to arrival, upon which time written confirmation, together with a receipt of the 20% deposit is required.
A booking which is cancelled due to a COVID-19 qualifying condition is fully refundable if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival.  Refunds will be made in the published currency, less any bank charges occurred.
If cancelled based on a COVID-19 qualifying condition within 48 hours prior to arrival, a full credit will be held for a future booking.
Our standard T&Cs apply to all balance payments.

These terms only to any new bookings for travel up to and including 15 December 2021
These terms apply to FIT bookings only

Bookings can be postponed for travel up to 15 December 2021 without facing a penalty fee
A booking for travel up to 15 December 2021 which is cancelled due to a COVID-19 qualifying condition is fully refundable if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival.  Refunds will be made in the published currency, less any bank charges occurred.
If cancelled based on a COVID-19 qualifying condition within 48 hours prior to arrival, a full credit will be held for a future booking.
Standard T&Cs apply to new booking dates – final payment is determined by the actual travel date
For 2020 bookings deferred to the same season in 2021, 2020 rates will be honored.  Should the new travel dates fall into a different, the new season rate applies.

If cancelled based on a COVID-19 qualifying condition within 48 hours prior to arrival, a full credit will be held for a future booking.

GROUP BOOKINGS

A booking which is cancelled due to a COVID-19 qualifying condition is fully refundable if cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival.  Refunds will be made in the published currency, less any bank charges occurred
If cancelled based on a COVID-19 qualifying condition within 30 days prior to arrival, a full credit will be held for a future booking.

COVID-19 QUALIFYING CONDITIONS

All of the above temporarily revised cancellation terms are in place exclusively for the following COVID-19 qualifying conditions:

The government of South Africa has closed its borders to the traveler’s country of origin or any transit countries.
The government of the traveler’s country of residence has closed its borders to all but essential travel.
International flights are cancelled, with no alternative routing available to fly to South Africa
The government of the traveler’s country of residence has issued an official travel warning or restricts travel in a way that it excludes the traveler from any travel insurance protection
A mandatory quarantine period is imposed by the government of South Africa, or on return to the traveler's country of residence
The traveler tests positive for COVID-19 within 48hours before departure and is therefore restricted from travelling
If the traveler has contracted COVID-19 and is in quarantine or in medical treatment 48 hours prior to travel.  Supporting documentation is required to verify the condition.

DISCLAIMER

Cancellations due to the fear of contracting COVID-19 will not constitute legitimate grounds for waiver of cancellation fees.  Should the criteria mentioned above not be met, our standard T's & C's will apply.
