P.C. and his wife are wonderful hosts and the dinners are definitely the highlight of the day. • I have stayed a few times at New Holme on return trips from Cape Town to Johannesburg. The personal hospitality and friendliness of the hosts PC and Mariska is wonderful. PC is introducing more ecotourism features and has great birding tips.

• Arriving down a long winding road, with memories reminiscent of having to stop and open and close farm gates, I wasn't expecting what i arrived at. Beautiful property, wonderful setting and incredible hosts. From playing with the pet Meerkat, yes Meerkat, to sheep and other animals wandering the grounds, it is definitly a place i will go back to. No longer will i make the Cape-JHB drive in 1...
